Atlantic Union Adventist Media Charters New Course
By Rohann D. Wellington

AUAM is available to provide media services
in any church within the territory of the Atlantic Union and the northeast corridor of the
United States.

Under the visionary leadership of Donald King, Atlantic Union Conference president, the Atlantic Union Adventist Media (AUAM) was formed in 2002 with the objective of bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ through satellite, cable television, and the Internet to large urban cities within the Atlantic Union territory and the northeastern United States.

With new leadership in place, AUAM is charting a new course. AUAM is available to provide media services, not only in New York City, but in any church within the territory of the Atlantic Union and the northeast corridor of the United States. Numerous programs have been recorded since the beginning of this year, which include the Atlantic Union Festival of the Laity SEEDS Conference, Northeastern Conference camp meetings (a joint venture with praizevision.com), and a biography of the life of one of Adventist’s best loved television evangelists, C. D. Brooks. This program is already edited and will air on 3ABN in August (www.3abn.org).

AUAM managing director

AUAM remains committed to the mission of producing Christ-centered Seventh-day Adventist programming for broadcast on HOPE TV, 3ABN, and the Internet. AUAM has a new Web site, www.auam.tv. Here you will find archived media, live streaming media, online Bible studies, as well as products from some of our musical artists’ within the Atlantic Union.
Great things are ahead for AUAM and we ask that you support us in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through media. We see AUAM as the type of ministry that plants the seed, encourages the discouraged, and helps people make a decision for Jesus Christ that we hope will lead to someone to walk into your church and be baptized.

As we forge ahead, we seek your financial support. On August 9 a special offering will be collected in churches across the Atlantic Union for this media ministry. We ask that you prayerfully make your contribution to Atlantic Union Adventist Media, and join us in this new thrust to achieve our objective through media. Your special tax-deductible offering will help us in accomplishing the mission of sharing Jesus through media with those who may never find the door of your churches, but by surfing the Internet or by watching one of our Adventist stations, may find Jesus through the programs recorded by AUAM.

This offering will also help us to acquire needed equipment that will enhance our ability to better serve you. I consider it a privilege to be asked to serve in this capacity and I ask that you continue to pray for this ministry. Thanks in advance for your financial support.

Rohann D. Wellington is the Atlantic Union Adventist Media managing director.
