NY13 Volunteers Needed
Beginning in April 2013 the Atlantic Union, North American Division (NAD), and General Conference will launch a seven-month series of evangelistic meetings in the greater New York City area called NY13.
Since this is a division-sponsored event with speakers and volunteers converging on New York City from all across North America and beyond, the Atlantic Union is inviting women’s ministries groups from all over NAD to participate in the event – starting this fall. They are especially interested in community outreach, including God in Shoes; health ministries; enditnow outreach to the community; and other events to acquaint communities with Seventh-day Adventists. They are also looking for women to preach evangelistic series between April 1 and October 31, 2013.
If you or your church or conference women’s ministries group is interested in going to NYC to participate in NY13 in any capacity, please send the following information to Lois King, Atlantic Union women’s ministries director, at lking@atlanticunion.org:
- Your name or group name
- Number of persons involved
- Where you are from
- Type of activity you are willing to engage in
- Your experience in this area
- Dates you are available
- Contact information
The Atlantic Union NY13 staff will screen all applications and decide when and where their services can be used.
NOTE: There is no budget to assist volunteers, so you must be willing to pay your own expenses.
We hope that many of our sisters from across the North American Division will help out our sisters in the great New York area to spread the gospel to the vast mission field of New York City.
